Features

LamaCP covers what a hosting server does, for every role on it. Paid plans include all of it and differ in how many domains and accounts you run; the Free plan leaves out backups, forwarders, mailing lists, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Websites

Static, PHP and proxy sites

nginx serves every site. PHP runs on PHP-FPM, one pool per account, with several PHP versions on one server. A site can also pass its traffic to an app or any address.

Certificates

Let's Encrypt certificates by HTTP or DNS challenge, renewed automatically. Wildcard certificates through DNS. Bring your own certificate when you need to.

Domains and subdomains

Each site lives in its own folder, which you can change at any time; nginx follows. Visitor and traffic statistics per site.

File manager and terminal

Upload, edit, zip and unzip (zip, tar, tar.gz) in the browser, confined to the account's home. A web terminal runs as the account's own user.

Apps and containers

Apps as services

Node.js, .NET and other programs run as systemd services under the account's user, restarted when they stop, with their logs in the panel.

Docker containers

Run images with ports, volumes inside the account's home, restart rules and CPU and memory limits, reachable through a domain of their own.

Mail

Mailboxes

Postfix and Dovecot with IMAP and SMTP over TLS, quotas per mailbox and Roundcube webmail.

Deliverability

DKIM keys and SPF and DMARC records for each domain, made for you. Rspamd filters spam.

Forwarders and lists

Forward addresses anywhere, or run simple mailing lists for a team.

Moving mail in

Accounts, sites, databases and mail can be imported from DirectAdmin.

Databases, DNS and files

MySQL / MariaDB

Databases and users per account, with a table browser and a query window.

PostgreSQL

The same for PostgreSQL, side by side with MySQL.

MongoDB

Databases, users and a document browser.

DNS

PowerDNS with a zone editor and sensible default records for new domains.

FTP

FTP accounts over FTPS and SFTP, each limited to a folder.

Backups

Encrypted, deduplicated backups with restic, to a local disk or S3. Customers restore their own files and download their database dumps.

Running a hosting business

Resellers and packages

The administrator makes reseller packages; resellers make customer packages from their pool. Limits are checked on every change.

Disk quotas and limits

Disk, domains, sites, apps, containers, mailboxes, databases and FTP accounts are limited per package.

Monitoring

CPU, memory, disk and service health on the dashboard, with system updates one click away.

Audit log

Every privileged action is written down: who did what, and when.

See it on your own server

The Free plan runs up to 3 domains, with no time limit.
